1. What motivated EDHEC Business School to join Amanote?
Amanote seemed to us to be a good solution for enabling our students to take notes directly in their different course supports. It allows them to simply centralise their notes in their online course space and thus organise their personal work better.
Initially, we were interested in this solution for our youngest students, but we realised as soon as we started using it that Amanote is used by all student profiles.
2. Did EDHEC Business School already offer a note-taking tool to students before working with Amanote?
Yes, our students are equipped with the Office 365 suite, but Amanote is directly integrated into their Blackboard online course space, which, as mentioned above, makes it easier and more efficient for students to take notes.
3. Did you need to push students to use Amanote or did it catch on on its own?
We didn't need to set up any specific communication (we had planned a tutorial, as with any new tool, but it didn't seem necessary, and we've had very few requests for support since September).
4. How would you rate the support from the Amanote team in setting up and monitoring the tool?
Very positively, the team is always responsive and our requests for improvements are taken into account. Implementation was quick and easy.
5. Do you consider Amanote to be a 'quick-win' compared with other ICT tools in terms of the effort involved in setting it up vs the impact on the students' learning experience?
Yes, we can definitely call it a quick-win, but we now hope that the tool can go further and offer all the features available with Moodle in Blackboard, as well as integrating new features thanks to AI to increase usage even further.
