This function is not available yet but will be in a later version of the software.
For the moment, Amanote is only available in English. However, while waiting for translation into other languages, the software can be easily used without advanced knowledge of English.

To keep the slides nice and clean, Amanote does not allow writing directly onto them. However, it is still possible to add a note referring to a specific place of the slide using the tool symbolized by a circled star. This function inserts a number to be positioned at the desired location on the slide and opens an insert corresponding to that number in the adjacent note page.
To print your notes, go to the menu, click 'file' and select 'export to PDF'. The new PDF generated can be printed as you usually do it.
For the moment, the drawings cannot be modified. This issue will be resolved in future releases.
If you have lost your notes due to a mistake or a bug for example, know that it is possible to recover them. To do so, go to the menu, click 'file' and select 'backup'. A folder will open with backups of your documents (they are automatically done every 4 minutes).
This function is not available yet but will be available soon.
Some Linux users can't create an account and encounter the error message 'Network Failure'. This refers to a problem with the Internet connection. A solution will soon be set up; do not hesitate to retry opening an account from time to time.
First, make sure that the e-mail is not in your spam folder. If this is not the case, there might be a typing error in your e-mail address. Please encode it again, being careful not to forget any characters. If you still do not receive confirmation, contact Amanote (via the 'contact us' section at the bottom of the web page) to request an activation of your account.
Some files that are uncompressed or contain a lot of slides can take up to 10 minutes to export to PDF. We are currently looking for a way to speed up the process in order to improve this inconvenience in future releases. In the meantime, you'll have to be patient (and take advantage of this to make a well-deserved break ;)). If the problem is of another kind, please notify Amanote. We will be happy to improve the software with your valuable feedback.
Some Windows users download Amanote and are then unable to run it. For example, Windows asks which software to open Amanote with. Make sure that the extension of the downloaded file is '.exe'. If this is not the case, rename the file to '.exe' and try executing it again. Also check that your version of Windows is fairly recent (see next question). If it still doesn't work, contact Amanote for help.
Amanote is not compatible with Windows Vista or Windows XP. You will need Windows 7 or later.
Sometimes nothing happens when a user clicks on 'download Amanote'. This is often due to a peak of downloads. The best solution is to wait a little and try to download Amanote again later. If the problem persists, please contact Amanote.
This problem can usually be solved easily by logging out of Amanote (Menu > Amanote > Logout) and logging in again.
If the audio recording does not work, check that your computer is equipped with a microphone and that it is functional. Also try to increase the volume. If, despite this, the recording function is still faulty, please contact Amanote so that we can try to determine and solve the problem.
We are currently working hard on the tablet version of Amanote. It will be available in beta version (test version) for iOS, Android and Windows Phone at the end of July 2017. The 'official' version will be available around September-October 2017.
